Mr. S V Kiran is a healthcare human capital and operations leader with extensive experience in clinician engagement, workforce transformation, talent management and organisational growth. He has built a strong reputation for developing progressive clinical and HR strategies, building high-performing teams and aligning people initiatives with business objectives in large healthcare systems.
As Chief Executive Officer of Apollo Health Resources Limited, Mr. Kiran leads the Global Workforce Development programme, a strategic initiative focused on addressing the global shortage of skilled healthcare professionals. Through this platform, he has been driving a scalable model for sourcing, training, certifying and deploying healthcare talent across international markets, including the United Kingdom, Middle East and other key geographies, while supporting India’s positioning as a global healthcare talent hub.
Previously, Mr. Kiran served as Chief Human Resources Officer, Hospitals Division, at Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, where he led HR transformation for one of India’s largest healthcare delivery systems covering a workforce of over 40,000 members across hospitals, businesses and global operations. He played a pivotal role in standardising workforce planning, optimising manpower productivity, strengthening leadership pipelines, and deploying digital HR solutions to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
His contributions at Apollo included strategic staffing norms, position-based manpower planning, dynamic staffing models, leadership and clinical hiring, succession-led talent development, digital HR adoption, performance management reforms, employee well-being initiatives and regulatory compliance excellence. He also contributed to HR integration for new hospital units and business verticals, while supporting profitability, productivity and workforce stability.
Mr. Kiran’s prior career includes senior HR and leadership roles with Apollo Hospitals, Sakra World Hospital, Medanta – The Medicity, Wockhardt Hospitals and Fortis Healthcare. He holds a PGDBM in HR and General Management from FORE School of Management, New Delhi, and a BBM in Marketing from Siddhartha College of Arts and Science, Vijayawada. His experience reflects a strong combination of healthcare operations, people strategy, digital transformation and leadership development.
