Dr. Ratnadeep Chaskar is the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Evercare Hospitals Bangladesh, with over 30 years of leadership experience in hospital operations and healthcare management. He has led large healthcare institutions through phases of growth, transition and transformation, and is recognised for bringing together clinical excellence, operational discipline, patient-centric care and sustainable financial performance.
At Evercare Hospitals Bangladesh, Dr. Chaskar has guided the institution’s evolution into one of the country’s leading tertiary-care platforms. Under his leadership, the organisation has strengthened clinical governance, expanded advanced specialty programmes, adopted leading technologies and improved operational efficiency, enabling more patients to access complex care locally. His leadership has supported strong growth in utilisation, revenue and profitability, including significant improvement in occupancy, scale and financial performance over the years.
Dr. Chaskar has also played a key role in supporting strategic ownership transitions and institutional growth. He led the transition from Apollo to Evercare following TPG’s investment and subsequently supported the Blackstone investment, while ensuring continuity of clinical talent, operational stability and long-term growth. His focus on systems, processes and governance has helped Evercare build a resilient platform capable of delivering internationally benchmarked healthcare services.
He has been instrumental in expanding healthcare access in eastern Bangladesh, including the commissioning of Evercare Hospital, Chattogram, strengthening emergency and critical-care capabilities, and developing advanced oncology and bone marrow transplant services. His contribution also extends across quality, patient safety, digital enablement, people development and clinical programme leadership, making him a well-rounded healthcare executive with deep institutional transformation experience.
Prior to Evercare, Dr. Chaskar held leadership assignments with Fortis Healthcare, Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospitals and Bombay Hospital, where he contributed to hospital commissioning, operational turnaround, accreditation, performance improvement and medical administration. He holds an MBBS from M.G.M. Medical College, Indore, an MBA in Hospital Administration from the Institute of Management Studies, Devi Ahilya University, Indore, and has completed executive programmes at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Singapore Management University.
